TagStacks — Privacy Policy

1. Introduction & Privacy Philosophy
 

TagStacks ("we," "us," or "our") is a utility application for organizing, categorizing, and copying text tags and hashtags for social media. We are committed to a Privacy First approach: your information should stay on your device, under your control.
 

This Privacy Policy explains how TagStacks handles information when you use our mobile application (the "App") and related website pages. Because we do not operate user accounts, cloud databases, analytics platforms, or third-party tracking, our data practices are intentionally minimal.

By downloading, purchasing, or using TagStacks, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.

 

2. Data Collection & Storage
 

2.1 We Do Not Collect Personal Data

TagStacks does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal user data. We do not require registration, login, or account creation. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or other identifying information within the App.


2.2 Local-Only Storage

All content you create in TagStacks—including tag stacks, categories, hashtags, and related text—is stored locally and securely on your device only. We do not transmit your tag data to our servers because we do not operate external servers or cloud databases for your content.


2.3 No Analytics or Tracking

TagStacks does not use:

  • Third-party analytics or advertising SDKs

  • Firebase or similar cloud backend services for your data

  • Cross-app tracking or behavioral profiling

  • Cookies or similar technologies within the App for tracking purposes
     

2.4 Device Permissions

TagStacks is designed to function without unnecessary permissions. If the App requests access to device features in the future, such access will be used only for stated App functionality and not to collect personal data for marketing or resale.
 

2.5 Data You Control

You are responsible for the text and tags you store in the App. Because data remains on your device, deleting the App or resetting your device may permanently remove your stored content unless you have backed up your device through your own means (e.g., iCloud or local backup, as provided by Apple).
 

2.6 Children's Privacy

TagStacks is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through email or other contact channels, please contact us and we will address the inquiry promptly.

 

3. In-App Purchases
 

TagStacks uses a premium model. Access requires a one-time In-App Purchase for Lifetime Access, processed entirely through Apple's App Store.

  • Apple—not TagStacks—processes payment and handles billing, receipts, refunds, and payment security.

  • We do not receive, store, or have access to your credit card, debit card, or other financial account details.

  • Purchase-related information handled by Apple is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and App Store terms.

If you have questions about a purchase, refund, or billing issue, contact Apple Support or manage your purchase through your Apple ID account settings.

 

4. Communications With Us
 

If you contact us at info@tagstacks.com, we will receive only the information you choose to provide (such as your email address and message content). We use that information solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not use support emails for marketing lists unless you explicitly opt in.

 

5. Changes to This Policy
 

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or business practices. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App or on our website.
 

Your continued use of TagStacks after an updated policy becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you should discontinue use of the App.
